Reporter responsibility

By submitting a report, you confirm that you personally transacted with the named person and that the information you provide is true to the best of your knowledge. A knowingly false report is your legal responsibility. Flagd reserves the right to remove reports that are found to be false or malicious.

Intermediary status (§79 IT Act)

Flagd operates as an intermediary under Section 79 of the Information Technology Act, 2000. We do not originate the content of reports; we review and curate them. We follow a notice-and-takedown process: if you believe a report about you is false or violates these terms, submit a dispute via the profile page or email takedown@flagd.in with the report URL and your grounds for removal.

Takedown process

  1. Submit a written takedown notice to takedown@flagd.in with the profile URL and reason.
  2. We will acknowledge within 72 hours.
  3. We will review the report and supporting evidence within 7 working days.
  4. If substantiated, the report will be removed or marked unlinked.

Prohibited use

You may not use Flagd to submit false, defamatory, or harassing reports. You may not attempt to identify reporters or circumvent the privacy protections of this platform.
