What we collect

  • Your email and password, used only to authenticate you at login.
  • Report content you submit: the named person's phone number, facts, amounts, dates, category, and evidence files.
  • The IP address of the device that submitted a provider or bribe report, used only by admins to detect spam and coordinated abuse. It is never shown on public pages or to volunteer reviewers.
  • Dispute or reply text submitted via the claim form.
  • Basic product-usage signals (for example pages visited and actions taken) so we can improve Flagd.

What we never make public

  • Your identity as the reporter, never shown to site visitors or to the person you report.
  • The IP address recorded when you submitted a report.
  • Evidence files you upload, stored privately and visible only to our review team until you opt in and we approve public display.
  • Any unapproved report content.

How we use your data

Your email and password are used solely to verify your identity at login through our authentication service, and are never displayed on any public page. Report facts are published only after admin review and approval.

Analytics and cookies

Flagd uses product analytics and related cookies or local storage to understand how the site is used, catch errors, and improve features. We do this for Flagd's own product work — not to sell your personal information. Analytics may link activity to your account after you sign in, using an internal account identifier rather than showing your email on public pages.

Retention

Rejected report evidence files are deleted within 90 days. Submitter IP addresses are kept only for admin abuse review and are never published; they are deleted with the matching report when you request account deletion. You may request deletion of your account and associated reports by contacting us.
